MONTREAL, Canada. July 29 - Fez 2, the sequel to long awaited indie puzzle platformer, Fez, has been cancelled according to a tweet from the developers.
"It's with a heavy heart that we announce that FEZ II has been cancelled and is no longer in development. We apologize for the disappointment," the Tweet reads.
Creative director Phil Fish said in a follow up statement on Polytron's website, "Fez II is cancelled."
Fish went on to mention his distaste for the game development business. "I am done," he wrote. "I take the money and I run. This is as much as I can stomach. This isn't the result of any one thing, but the end of a long, bloody campaign. You win."
