Best Buy Sells Out On Launch Day Xbox One Pre-Orders

WEST SAINT PAUL, Mn. June 10 - Best Buy has relinquished its Xbox One pre-orders both online and in store, according to the electronics retailer.

According to Best Buy's website, The Xbox One: Day One Edition, which is the product Best Buy is offering, notes that both "shipping" and "store pickup" options are "not available". However, Best Buy may reopen pre-orders after the company gets a better idea of the console's stock at launch.

GameStop ceased in-store Xbox One pre-orders last month, but is still offering pre-orders for the next-gen console online. Online retailer Amazon has sold out of the Day One Edition, but is still offering the option to pre-order the "standard edition".
