Bethesda Not Developing Games for Wii U, Unsure About the Future

ROCKVILLE, Md. July 16 - Bethesda has no games in development for Nintendo's Wii U and the studio still remains unsure if it would dive into the not so popular console in the future.

The lack of interest in developing for the Wii U is due "to a number of factors," explained Bethesda's head of marketing Pete Hines to MCV in an interview. "The truth is, it's not something that we are currently developing for. I don't know whether that changes down the road or not".

"It depends on the games that we are making and how we think it aligns with that console, and how the hardware aligns with the other stuff we are making. We will see," Hines added.

The publisher is currently pushing three confirmed titles - FPS Wolfenstein: The New Order, which is being developed by MachineGames, survival/horror title The Evil Within coming from Tango Gameworks, and Zenimax Online's MMO The Elder Scrolls Online.
