IRVINE, Calif. July 31 - Blizzard will be making a "special announcement" during the first day of Cologne, Germany-based Gamescom on August 21 at 11:30 a.m. local time, according to an invitation the studio sent out to media outlets today.
The announcement will be "sure to capture the attention of the Heavens, Burning Hells, and all the shadowed places that lie between".
It would seem that Blizzard will be announcing a Diablo title based on the mention of "Heavens" and "Burning Hells", perhaps the expansion?
The firm does have quite a few titles on its pipeline, such as the yet to be announced new MMO ip, codenamed Titan, Diablo 3's first expansion, Blizzard All-Stars, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, and StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void.
