NEW YORK, August 8 - StarCraft 2 will not be featured in MLG's upcoming Pro Circuit Championship in Columbus, Ohio this November. The reason, MLG co-founder Sundance DiGiovanni tweeted today, is because the RTS "just doesn't fit into our Cbus plans".
MLG did host StarCraft 2 during their Spring Championships in Anaheim, an event I personally did attend to watch the popular RTS.
Departure from StarCraft 2 is not too surprising considering the eSport organizer did part from hosting Blizzard's SC2 World Championship Series America. The series is now being run in-house by Blizzard in partnership with the North American Star League (NASL).
