Germany. August 7 - Ex-Zynga vets Rocco Di Leo, Sascha Globel and Tim Keszler have launched a German games studio dedicated to producing educational mobile games for kids, reported Gamasutra today.
Kidcore's mission, as articulated on the studio's website, "is to create individual products for children to escort them during their first experiences with everyday mobile technology." According to the company, "mechanics and visual design are the result of close collaboration with parents, child psychologists and educational institutions"
Granted the prolificacy of mobile gaming and how easily accessible the technology is to youngsters it's good to see someone venturing to turn what could be a plague to a blessing.
