BELLEVUE, Wa. August 6 - Tea-bagging is a part of online multiplayer gaming culture, but Bungie is hoping to combat the toxic behavior by making trolls ineffective in their upcoming RPG/Shooter, Destiny.
Bungie is making certain that the "social experience is one where if the players aren't co-operating or communicating effectively it doesn't ruin anyone's experience," explained technical director Chris Butcher.
Although Butcher didn't get into specifics, he did admit that player toxicity isn't extinguishable, but Destiny will keep altruistic players intact.
"You give people these tools that encourage them to interact positively with each other and then if someone is interacting negatively with you, well, they can't ruin your experience."
